Basic Self-Defense Seminar

March 26, 2017 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

In light of increasing violent bigotry and hate crime making our communities less safe, the Coru Priesthood is teaming up with certified Krav Maga instructor Hannah Storyteller to bring you this free/pay-what-you-can class series on basic self-defense techniques.

March: In the first of this monthly series of seminars taught by a certified Krav Maga instructor, learn two basic self-defense techniques to protect yourself from punches or knife attacks. This class is open to people of all ages, genders, and physical ability levels. Krav Maga was originally developed to help ordinary people fight back against Nazi violence.

Hannah Storyteller has been practicing Krav Maga for five years and completed her instructor certification course last year. She is dedicated to making her community safer both physically and magically.

The purpose of this class series is to help community members, especially those who feel unsafe or wish to train to protect themselves and others from violence and hate crime. Starting Sunday March 26th, and continuing monthly on the third Sunday of every month, class will be held at Nevermore House in Oakland.

Space is limited – RSVP by email to events@corupriesthood.com to reserve your space and get address and directions.
