– the Dord Fianna, motto of the FiannaThe Coru Cathubodua Priesthood welcomes you to Lore/Craft, casual crafting events surrounding discussions of Celtic lore. Please join us on Sunday, August 13th for a lore discussion and crafting session discussing Fionn and the Fianna.
We’ll start with a discussion of what it took to join the Fianna, why someone might choose that life, and the seasonal integration and susurrations of the fennid bands into and out of the Otherworld, the wilds, and normal society. No lore homework is necessary to participate, but for those so inclined, here are some possible jumping-off points for our chat. We hope to see you there!Áirem Muintire Finn — https://celt.ucc.ie/published/G303019/ (Irish), https://celt.ucc.ie/published/T303019/ (English)
