Polytheist Chat + Craft Moot
July 16 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
The Coru Cathubodua Priesthood welcomes you to a casual polytheist chat and craft! Bring your current art or crafting project to work on and talk about polytheistic practice While the Coru’s focus is typically around one or more of the Celtic polytheisms, folks of any faith, background, and experience are invited, and conversational topics aren’t limited to any culturally specific practices.
What to expect:
- 10:55am PST – Zoom opens
- 11am PST – we’ll do a round of introductions: name, pronouns, and what project you’re working on
- After that, the facilitator will introduce a topic, and the conversation will evolve from there. Topics will naturally shift and may include shop-talk about whatever projects we’re each working on.
- 1pm PST – wrap up and Zoom closure
This chat will not be recorded.
Participation
After introductions, folks may participate as little or as often as they like, including those who prefer to just sit and listen in company. We may ask some of our chattier participants (including our own Coru members) to make space for quieter folks. The goal of this chat is to provide another low-key opportunity for people to spend some time with fellow polytheists, especially when we’re separated by distance, COVID, and other barriers.
Attendees may leave at any time – we don’t take it personally! Attendees may also return later (although keep in mind that the chat ends at 1pm PST).
Registration
We ask everyone to register prior to the event. This helps us in screening and do our best to make it as safe a space as possible.
Registration deadline is Friday, 7/14, at 11pm PST.
