Permissions
Please eat and drink whenever you want, regardless of what we’re doing!
Step away at any time to take care of your bodily and/or emotional needs.
Participate in whichever parts of the schedule call to you; if there’s something you’re less interested in, that’s okay! You’re not obligated to participate in everything.
Participation in the poetry share is entirely optional; you may listen to others without the expectation of needing to speak and share yourself.
Conduct Expectations
We ask that all attendees abide by our Hospitality & Safety Policy and our Inclusion & Diversity Policy. Depending on the nature, severity, and frequency of any violations that come to our attention, they will be addressed in one of the following ways:
Private DM using Zoom’s chat as a gentle reminder of the policies;
Verbal reminder of the policies and clarification on which specific behavior needs to be changed;
Removal from the event with the potential for a confidential follow-up and/or being barred from participation in future events.
If any community member experiences an act of discrimination or harassment from a Coru member, they may reach out to the Coru chat monitor to request a private conversation and clarification on options regarding a grievance report, a restorative practices process, or other method of addressing the harm according to the needs and safety of the person who was impacted.
